Project Description

One of the first challenges was to update the meeting space to handle the newer digital sources entering the work place as well as any legacy analog video sources. This was accomplished by deploying Crestron Digital Media with a shielded CAT6 infrastrcuture. A Crestron AirMedia was integrated to allow for BYOD devices since this was a new method of presenting content and workflow. The client currently uses LifeSize video conference units on a daily basis and the owner provided CODEC was rigged to the back of the Samsung 75" flat screen display when mounted to the finished wall using a Chief LTMU tilt wall mount bracket.

Audio within the space was another challenge do to the curved ceiling and the exterior wall of glass. In meeting the clients vision of a clean look and the audio needs of the system we choose Bose line array's mounted on either side of the display. Shure MicroFlex wireless boundry microphones were utilized for secure lifelike audio and an Extron DSP was used for processing to the VTC as well as traditional POTS calls.

The heart of the system is a Crestron DMPS-300-C. The DMPS-300-C is a complete presentation control and signal routing solution for boardrooms and classrooms. Integrating the control system, multimedia matrix switcher, mic mixer, audio DSP, amplifier, and DigitalMedia distribution center all into a single 3-space rackmount package, the DMPS-300-C affords substantial signal routing flexibility and high-performance signal processing without the need for separate components.

Custom system programming was completed to allow the client to have full control of the integrated system providing ease of use and function to those using this meeting space.
